2015 Taco TDR Sport ordered how long to wait?

Two weeks ago I ordered a 2015 Taco TRD Sport V6, 4X4. The dealer says they have acceptance from Toyota for the order but no build/delivery time. What has been some of your experiences with wait times. It's heck waiting for new toys.

I don't kno how long for sure. A few guys on here have said a few months, but if it were me I'd be calling 1-2 times a week asking for a ETA until I got one.

 

I ordered mine in the beginning of September 2012, and took delivery in the beginning of November 2012.

I had a hard time getting a delivery date also, and I don't think I actually ever got a solid delivery date until a week or two before it was delivered. I'm not sure they will actually know a real delivery date before your truck hits the assembly line.

 

Between 8 and 12 weeks is the norm throughout the industry.

 

It might never come coz' Toyota doesn't make TDR's

It's a special order for people like me that can't spell or keyboard.

I ordered mine and had 2 colour preferences, black or metallic grey. One week later I got a call. They found one at a dealer 2 hours away. I got lucky.

 

Stumbled on a 2015 TRD Sport on the lot Dec. 3. I knew when they pulled up to the front with it that it was going home with me.
