Put some goodyear wrangler duratrac on.
I'm looking at the Rough Country 3 inch suspension lift. Does anyone have any information on Rough Country if its a good company or not? And where should I have my installation done in Colorado Springs?

I would strongly consider doing some more research. RC is not a favored brand in the Tacoma community.

What is your intended use? What side tires do you want to run? What is your budget? Are you familiar with the significant increase in cost going from a 2" lift to a 3" lift? The required UCAs will cost $400-500 alone. There will also be noticeable power loss going from a light weight C load 32" equivalent tire to a heavy E load 33" tire. All things to consider.

For a multi-purpose highway and weekend off road vehicle, I'd suggest a mild 2" lift and an upgrade to 265/70/R17 or 265/75/R16 tires (32s).

I just want to go off roading on the weekends and trying to get some more ground clearance for going through some mud pits. What brand for a lift do you recommend and what size of a lift? And yes I already have some 265/75/16 duratracs.

    Popular options include:

The lower cost favored lift is using height adjustable Bilstein 5100s which can vary in setting from 0" lift to 3" with a set of add a leafs (AALs) in the rear. I'd highly recommend the 3 leaf progressive AAL for best ride, as single leafs can make your truck ride like a dump truck.

A step up is to use the Bilstein 6112 and 5165s, which are beefier units and the rear has remote resis. These are based on the TRD Baja/Pro units. You can see my writeup here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/baja-tx-pro-kit-icon-aal.385619/

Another popular option is Old Man Emu (OME) by ARB, where you can choose custom spring rates.

Upper threshold is Fox/Icon/King coil overs. Very high quality but cost quite a bit more.
