Custom Front End w/Lift Kit

Hello, Reed here. I've had this Toyota Tacoma for a few years now but recently started experiencing issues with the Touchscreen not responding but only when I used the magnetic strip recommended on YouTube.
Can anyone give me a permanent solution? I noticed the Screen is rather faded as well, should it be replaced and will that resolve the issue?
