I tried to pair an IPhone 8plus to my 2015 Tacoma and the Bluetooth & phone disappeared I brought in to the dealership twice & they told me that I need to update my Entune but they don’t have any update available at dealership or online. I call customer service and they told me that they can’t help me at this time & cant tell me when the update will be available either

I had no problem pairing my iPhone 8. I have the newest update. Like Redawn6 said, try to reset your network settings and reset your phone. Hope that helps.

As with all electronics if all else fails I would unplug the radio completely and leave it like that for a couple of hours. It may work fine when you plug it back in. Electronics sometimes catch a static charge and it doesn't let them behave as they should.

By unplugging I mean all power, signal, antennas.. Completely isolated.

I've had this same problem. You're gonna have to reset your radio through the settings menu, that'll get rid of all your presets. But it'll allow BT to work. Good luck!

Im currently experiecning the same problem on my 2015. I recently switched from verizon to sprint and due to that i had to get a new phone - i had an 8 plus that was connected to my truck, but after getting another new 8 plus i cannot connect at all and my bluetooth button has disappeared as well. I have reset the radio and tried disconnecting the battery but nothing has changed. I have also tried connecting other phones but still there is no button. No clue what to do next.

Sounds like the issue is not on the phones but the head unit itself. I would go to settings and poke around to see if theres a toggle to turn Bluetooth on or off. I have one on my older entune unit.

I would also make sure to follow the link with the entune updates that someone posted here. Download the file, save it to a thmbdrive and update.

If none of that works then do a reset on the radio. See if this works for you

I know its for a prius but the software is very similar.

I just checked the toyota site last week to see if there are any updates, of course there were not any for model year.

There is also no one to turn bluetooth off or on through the head unit. Nor is the head units bluetooth discoverable on my iphone. POS

The prius link i gave you? I can tell you it works since I tested it on my own prius and current entune unit in my tacoma. But I think mine are an older version.

The last thing I would do before declaring it dead would be take it out, unplug all wires from the main unit and the auxiliary unit, leave it sitting for a few hours and try it.

In general ive seen electronics acting up if they have a static charge. If you unplug for a few hours the static charge dissipates and all circuitry gets back to work as normal.
