Any codes setting? Did you use the original harness from your 05 engine?

You fully deleted the SAIS, correct? Did you use your 2005 harness and ECU? Is everything hooked up? Battery charged? Fuel lines all hooked up? Is the fuel pump kicking on? To me sounds like something isn't plugged in or a fuse is blown.

Everything is plugged in and getting fuel pressure and has a brand new battery. My mechanic said the crank shaft sensor is different in the 2015 than the 2005?

I just looked them up on Rock Auto and both crank sensors are the same part numbers between 2005 and 2015.

Engine harness pinouts can vary from year to year that's why I asked if you used your original harness.
Also did you check for codes?

Used 2005 harness, did not check codes. Getting truck dropped off at an electrical mechanic to hopefully find the issue

    UPDATE

finally got it running, wiring harness was all jacked up and my mechanic was able to sort it all out. The new problems that have arrived are that the truck when in drive starts in second gear and will not use first gear unless you manually put it in first…. Super weird. Also the whole head unit has no power and does not turn on, checked fuses and wiring the best I could and could not solve the issue. Anyone have any tips or ideas why this is happening???

Does the transmission shift though the gears otherwise or does it only have 2nd in drive?
    Aftermarket or factory radio?
