    that's too bad,
i wish they'd do a year model where you can get a regular cab 4X4 stick with the seats not the bench and power windows/keyless entry...

Yeah, one guy in one town watching inventory is a good measure for the entire nation as a whole...

Regular cabs were less than 10% of overall Tacoma sales mix. So sure, the ones they do build can sell, but dealers are clamoring for more Tacomas and Toyota is capacity constrained. They'll easily turn off the low profit models and allocate more for higher profit models like the Access Cabs and Double Cabs. And this year, even swapping Tacoma for Tundra.

I'm not seeing any single cab on cars.com for the 2015 model year...

    They all look really similar...

Only difference I see is the 2015 doesn't have an RSCA off button...

Then for the basic access cab and pre-runners, There isn't an external clock... The only clock is on the head unit and the would be single cab trucks that are now access cab don't have the jump seats and they have solid rear windows.

So basically, they are merging the single cab and access cabs styles...Meh!

Seems like it... I don't mind it, The cost doesn't seem to be that much more and you get all the basic features of a single cab (long bed, solid rear window) but get extra rear storage space with the access cab without jump seats and bucket seats up front to go along with it.

The ext cab is 18" longer. This will not fit in my garage. Also larger turning radius, less nimble. I guess I own my last Tacoma.

I liked them as well ... adjusting to the brighter (white) display gagues on the '14.

It's not the lack of demand. But rather corporate fuel economy ratings. Small to mid size regular cab trucks have a small footprint....effecting how they are measured. Just read this months Automobile magazine and they mentioned this is exactly why GM will not offer the new Colorado with a RC.
