So the price on the table for a 2015 DC Limited MGM is 34,600. + tax title reg, no dealer or document fee.

No other dealer in the area can beat it. would you say this is a good deal?

prob will come out to about 37 after taxes.

msrp on the truck is about 37k.

Oh btw, Hi, I'm Eddie and this is my first post here.

    I'm in New Jersey

    Welcome from another NJ'er...

As for the price I don't think it's worth it. I bought a 2014 DCSB Sport 4x4, 6spd manual, BRM and paid $31,000 before taxes and fees. Did I overpay for it? Probably. But, the dealer I bought it intially was going to order it from Toyota while they literally were looking high and low to find this exact combination. They got lucky and found one in another state.

Personally, I wouldn't go with the 2015 if you could find a 2014 around that meets your requirements. Good luck though.

In my area 2k - 3k under MSRP is a good deal. So I don't think your doing bad at all.

Make them throw in a couple accessories for the same price though, like maybe a bed mat and front skid plate or bed extender. They will most likely do it if you ask for it and hold firm.

I'd tell them 34k is your max unless they can throw in a couple accessories. They will see an extra $600 for a couple hundred in accessories and jump on it.

I called 2 other toyotas and none of them could come near the price. They said it's under their invoice and they can't match, nor beat it. Then hung up

One dealer even said I doubt you'll even pay that, insinuating I was lying..

But yeah this is a 2014 DC limited 4x4, auto short bed.

I mean there's not much room for negotiation considering the other dealers can't play ball

I'm sure you guys already know that the 4x4 is more expensive and the limited is the highest package with leather and other options. So don't compare this to what people pay for an access cab with cloth.

Your subject says 2015, but this post says 2014. Which is correct?

Mine's a dual cab short bed, aka DCSB. But you're right, you've got more features. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of those features which is why I didn't chose them. To each their own. Again, good luck which ever way you go.

Thats BS dude I'd wait and get the deal you want...37 for a limited taco...dayum. But if it's what you want get it. Also, are you financing? paying cashola? That may affect price negotiations as well...

You don't have a limited though, how much was the MSRP on that 31k truck you bought? I'm betting it was between 33k - 34k?

    2015** sorry.

and I don't plan on doing any offroading. I like the options that come on the limited.

He called back (for what reason I'm not sure I didn't counter offer) and offered 34.1 now

I honestly don't remember. Like I said in my first post, I know I didn't get a great deal compared to others. But, it was exactly what I wanted and I simply would sacrifice the features I wanted for the price. I plan on keeping this truck forever so the price became less of an issue to me.

    So MSRP is 36.5k

    I'm currently at 34.1 +tax, title, tag.

There is no premium cost for getting what you want. I custom ordered my 13' OR DCSB 4x4 for the exact same price I had been given on a leftover 12' that was on the lot.

My salesman said it wouldn't cost me a dime to custom order what I wanted from the factory over what one on their lot would cost me. Just that I would have to wait a while to get it.

It's a good deal! You can confirm that when multiple other dealers will not even attempt to match the price.

Everyone being negative just thinks the limited package isn't worth the money it costs. I don't necessary disagree, but that's not what you are asking.

Technically I didn't pay a "premium" as I paid less than MSRP. I paid what the dealer told me was his cost. Now do I believe that $31,000 was his cost? Not at all. I'm sure that if this truck had been sitting on his lot for months, I could've gotten it for probably $30,000 or less. In the end, if you're happy with what you're buying, and the cost is acceptable to you, buy it. Otherwise, go elsewhere. Pretty simple choice to me.

If the Limited is a requirement for you, I'd say go for it.

Well I would hope you didn't believe that you got your truck for the dealer's cost.

I didn't say you paid a premium charge from the dealer. You said that you paid more for your truck than you could have probably gotten it for because it was the exact combination you wanted. So how is that not paying a premium?

    none yet

I would agree 100% with this statement. If its the truck you are looking for and you can get it out the door for under MSRP with a few accessories then I would jump on it.
