Just bought complete upholstery from a 2015 Tacoma pro and I want to take my old seat covers off of my Tacoma Prerunner TRD Sport 2005 and replace with new. Color is the same, upholstery is the same and Toyota parts department confirmed they are the same seats. I bought them all brand new on eBay for $130 shipped lol. So I figure for that price I'll take the chance, as mine are beat up and I don't want leather or seat covers. Question is, has anyone pulled the seats out and removed seat cover and replaced with an OEM seat cover? I'm wondering how difficult it will be. Thanks for any info.

    Clazzio seat covers,
Should be simple ... unbolt seats ... unlatch wiring harnesses ... remove seats (best bet) ... more than likely hooks and other types of fasheners ... put them back on in reverse order.

I am guessing the '05 did not have seat air bags ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the headrests design changed over the years, so that part of the kit may not work.
