Pretty sure I'm the first to do it! Never seen it online anywhere or in the forums. I think it looks great! First post but been into toyotas for years. Enjoy!

Nice truck!...the install looks really good. What modifications did you go through to get it to fit?

Looks great. Just had a fender bender with my 2004 and shop says front skid plate OEM is not available. Would like to replace it and open to other options; maybe an upgrade without breaking the bank. Any details on what you modified to make this one work? Or, any recommendations out there on other replacement options?

That's sick! Plus - it's way better looking on the 1st gen then the 2015 ;)

Looks awesome! How did you attach it? Did you have to bend it at all?

I've got a couple laying around if you end up needing to source a used one. Shipping might be pretty spend if you're too far away though.

You will need to put your stock skid plate back on to make the mod work, just as a heads up. Involves drilling (1/4” but) and tapping (M8x1.25) holes in the existing skids to mount. Takes about two hours total, and a bit more if you want to secure the skid with all four mounting holes..right now it’s on with three and feels pretty solid. should have some time week after next for a write up on the progress so far.

Ah so the original skids are still under there? Does it affect oil changes?
