Yeah, no shit! I honestly don't see anything special about the TRD Pro. You can buy a 4x4 Trd Sport and put a toytec lift on it for cheaper than the Pro and it'll sit a little higher. I mean, don't get me wrong, it is a nice rig but for $40g's I'd rather buy a used Tacoma and use the money left over for a LT kit and supercharger

Agreed... all it looks like to me aside from the suspension is overly expensive aesthetics

I am thinking of buying a TRD PRo and am being quote right at 37k. If I bought TRD SPort and added all the goodies with tires and wheels plus the labor to put on, I don't think it is far apart at all.

Different things for different people. For me it would be a waste because I know I'd want to upgrade the suspension and tires and add the things that I want that aren't offered through the dealership

It was! He seemed to be the only one around here that knew exactly what I was looking for. Toyota of Denton told me to wait two months before they could even order anything for me.

I stand corrected. This one has a touch screen radio. It also comes with air conditioning and a full tank of gas. F*ing loaded

It amazes me how they try to put what aesthetic mods they think people will want but not the functional changes. They obviously monitor this and other forums.

TRD SC, URD 1 size smaller SC drive pulley, Volant CAI w scoop, TacoTunes full kit, MagnaFlow muffler for flow but ran out rear to kill the drone.
I got a 14 Sport DCSB 6spd and put a TRD SC on it w Volant intake w scoop, straight through Magna Flow for no backpressure, Sitting infront of me in the next step - 5100's, OME 885s, Toytec progressice AAL, AllPro UCA, 285/75/16 on black aluminum rims, URD 2.825" pulley (about 8lbs) Toytec fueul pump amd GM/Ford common fuel flter (cheaper, serviceable and found anywhere), and a cheapie 24" LED light bar. Also,to try to limit any unwanted vibrations, I got the axle shims, carrier bearing drop and slight sway bar drop from various manufacturers.
Now, after all that typing, let's try to total.
There was one one truck spec'd my way 400 miles away but they git it. Sticker (still have it) was just over $36,500 but paid $32,500. SC + install $5,200. UCA's $700. Let's say $1,100 in stereo. $350 for brakes. `Let's say another $~1500 for incidentals.
    That's 41,350
I guess it comes down to how many wrenches you want to turn.
    More power to him.
