So there is a dealer close by that has one of the Inferno Red Double Cab Tacoma Trd Pro's on the lot. Won't budge past $37,654 and the sticker is $38,950 should I bother? I am actually looking for an Extended Cab 4x4 V6 TRD Sport 6 speed. Those run around $32,015 at Boch and the best deal they would give is $29,958. Kind of a joke deal in my opinion. Can anyone send me somewhere else in Mass that actually deals.

That Inferno Red PRO will likely bring them a lot of traffic and interested buyers who might buy other trucks in the end, and it's a brand new model. Don't expect a deal on either. You're definitely going to pay for a PRO regardless of where you go.

No doubt, since it's only available on that truck model.

Yup Ernie Boch, he doesn't have the Pro model. But he doesn't seem to deal much anymore.

I really think the Pro is overpriced, don't care much for the red.

The pro is a cool concept but I could never justify spending $10,000 more on the pro model. If you really like the suspension you can get a more capable mid travel set up (total chaos upper control arms, coilovers, bolt in leaf pack for the rear and shocks) for much, much cheaper than $10,000. Shoot at $10,000 you could be investing in long travel (I say investing because you could buy the front and start your spending on the rear setup, but most lt guys probably spent more than $10,000 in mods).

Yeah I figured I would buy a new Tacoma and just lift it like I normally do. Which would probably be better components anyway. The grill is nice but give it time they will be available at some point

You think $2000 off is a joke? I paid around $31k for my access cab Sport and think it was a fair deal for this area. I'd love to have gotten mine for $29,958

2015 TRD Pro in the Garage!

At $38,950 it should have the tow package which is pretty rare on the Pro's. If it was on the west coast I'd be buying it! Have a dealer working to get one that is being built on the 20th but not 100% that will go through. Most dealers won't budge from MSRP so if you wanted a pro and they will chop off anything it is a good deal (my dealer knocked off about $1750 from MSRP). Again, all depends on what you want...the Pro gives you a lot of add on's that may or may not be of interest (though seems many mods are to copy some of the stuff)...You get the suspension, the grill, Nav, Homelink/auto dim mirror/, blacked out headlights, color matched everything, great wheels and tires, blacked out badging, sport scoop hood, etc. So quite a bit more than the base model and for about 5k more than a std TRD.

You did a good job negotiating that much money off. Toyota dealerships don't generally budge very much on the price of these trucks. The price you mentioned for the sport is pretty much what you'd expect to pay for a used 2013!

Don't get pissed about the Pro not being discounted, just buy the one you want. Each dealer is only allocated one of these special editions so they would be crazy to give them away. If you want all the little mods they've done to the pro; big upgrade on suspension, lift, and a few cosmetic things then go for it. If you have no need for that stuff then pass.

It is a Tacoma, if you don't buy it the next guy will. You just won't find dealers flexing on their price for a new Tacoma.

I just saved a local TWer 2k on his new Tacoma, so that isn't particularly true. You can find deals, but you can't always make deals.
