2015 TRD Pro: 3.5K miles on and few issues that concerns me

    Armour: All-Pro Skid plates - IFS, transmission, and transfer case. Pelfreybilt rear standard plate bumper, Metal Tech Sliders w/ kickout and dimple die filler plates. Front Suspension: OME 885 + NitroCharger 9000 shocks + 1/2" spacers for a 3" lift. Superbumps replacing stock bumpstops. Camburg ball joint UCA SS braid brake lines Future: ADS Extended length, extended length UCA BJ to increase droop capability Rear Suspension: All-Pro Expedition rear leafs, Walker Evans 27" rear shocks, extended rear brake lines (Wheelers Offroad), U -bolt flip kit, rear Timbren bumpstops. Future: Hammer Hangers, Shock relocate, ADS 12" or 14" shock. Interior: Weatherteck floor liners - front, Wet Okoles- front, ScanGauge, LED interior & map lights. Power moonroof. Exterior: Raider Cobra canopy, retrofit headlight by Insight, LED bulbs all around, modified flasher unit for LEDs. Rear diff breather mod. Front diff vibe problem, driver's side needle bearing replaced with ECGS bushing. yet to install: HID Blazer Fog Retrofit, LED Flood & Spot, + switches, fuse panel. swaybar relocate blocks (build my own)
    F150 from 2007+ are much improved on handling over washboards compared to previous years. Other truck mfgs have not caught up.

    But it looks cool, it's new, and I could be the first one on the block to have one!... oh wait, what do i need a truck for? ah yes, so I can jump my new quad into the back. hope it fits, cause I gotz no money for loading ramps or taking a course on how to do basics such as load, unload, and ride it.

    Meh. I'll stick with my own built truck over something from the factory for half the cost and better off road ability. Plus I have a real bumper on mine.

    My salesman didn't know jack either, so I toyed with him by asking random questions I already knew the answers to . It was the only fun I got out of the ordeal as I hate dealing with salesmen.


    OP, for an affordable bedmat check out the one DeeZee makes. I picked one up for cheap and it works great at keeping items in the bed from sliding. They only make them for the long beds though, so keep this in mind. I have a short bed and simply cut it down on one side and used the remaining piece for my tailgate.

    When I actually got my truck I just called them and got it on the phone. Told them I just needed to talk to someone to buy a truck. I didn't need to see it, drive it or anything. I just needed someone to get the truck off the lot and have the paperwork and truck ready for me to pick up when I got there in 4 days. Toyota had already discounted the truck as a previous year model so there wasn't an issue of haggling over the price. I gave them my credit card number and it was waiting for me when I got there.

    Salesman that I talked to said that was the easiest sale he had ever made. He was glad he came in that morning early.

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    The bed on my 04 does that too, guess they are all like that. Composite is pretty tough shit, you could add a bed mat to stop stuff from sliding around back there. Or just bedliner it which is what I plan to do to my 04, but idk if bedliner works on composite, I have a metal bed so I know it will on mine but not sure about the 2nd gens.

    Let me break it down for you. We were talking about knowing more than the salesman. I didn't need a salesman I just needed the truck ready for me when I got there. I bought truck on phone and signed paperwork for it when I got there. No salesman needed.

    I'm just lazy to haul the ramp around. I find it silly...besides, the only other truck I have is a F 350 dually and it never complains.:cool:

    Also OP, according to a response from Toyota another member got about his tailgate bent they advised that the tailgate was not a structural piece on the truck and to load stuff in the bed the tailgate should be removed and ramps placed directly in the bed. I guess that's why the tailgate comes off so easy on these trucks.
