I note the lack of TRD stickers on the rear fenders and I like the look. Were they removed, or was this factory for the 2015's?

The Grille says all you need to know to ID what it is, and the understated badge on the tailgate is another nice (understated) touch.

That's a good detail to know if someone is looking to purchase one. I don't think I have ever seen one in the wild. I have tried to find the production number for them without luck. Assuming their first and last year only status within the 2nd Gen run it may make them a rare bird.

Good stat to know. No wonder I have never seen one. There's a calculator out there that will figure out the attrition-rate and estimate the number of vehicles remaining given the year produced, the specific model and the total number originally made: taking into account loss from normal wear and tear, accidents etc.

I have always wanted to do this but is it worth the time. Also what would the cost look like.

I'm in this project 8 working days at 6 hours per day. Material costs are at $1k and I need to buy more to do the doors. Roughly 35-40lbs of material added to the cab and probably 20-30lbs for the doors. I'll have final numbers for everything used and the decibel reading change from before/after on the final vid

It looks great. One of if not my favorite build I've seen. It's just done right.

I know you have some custom or longer travel rear shocks. So I looked on the web site and it says there 2.25's. I remember you saying you didn't do a shock relocate kit because you didn't want to run spacers but is there any options for shock relocate with those shocks spacers or not.

Thank you! I appreciate that

The 2.25 is just the outer diameter of the shock body. I'm running the rear shocks from Fabtech's 6" lift kit and wheelers super bumps with a 3/8" spacer to limit the up travel.

Will you eventually do a shock relocation kit or are you planning to stick to the stock mounting points.

Here are some pics of the sound proofing process. It took 12 working days at 6 hours per day for the cab, and I still have not done the doors.

Still working on the full Youtube video for the door sound deadening, but here are some progress pics of the rear door.

Pieces on the floor are copies of what I put in the driver rear door skin for the passenger side.

Butyl rope in between door bars

    Door skin covered with dynaliner

    Final dynaliner layer

Door panel treated with a few bits of dynaliner

    One down, three to go
