Looks like yours is Barcelona Red. 2015 Pros were only made in white, black, and Inferno orange. I’m seeing a non-pro grille too.

    It's dead to me...

But seriously the only benefit to a sport over a OR is the suspension. The locker is way more valuable, and the hood scoop is glare city.

you get a locking 8” so it can break

or sport 8.4” so when you put a locker while regearing it is stronger

Pro is so you can pay $35k for an $18k truck because it has subpar shocks on it

I understand you can upgrade above 6112/5160 to Fox reservoir, 8100, etc for ~$4k but then you wouldn’t get a Cool PRO Badge

I got a deal on my truck because I think the dealer looked up the VIN and read the report wrong. Like others have said, there's a lot of "pros" listed for sale that aren't pros. In my case my VIN report says it's a Base model, but then in the options section says offroad package. So I got a TRD/OR for the price of a base model. Check the truck for an elocker if you want one, and don't pay "pro" prices unless they can produce the original window sticker with the pro package details.

Yeah! because the locking diffs are known for breaking .

The only time the E-locking diff had a reputation for being weak was the early 07 FJs. They had some sort of assembly/material issue. Otherwise they are plenty strong.

I have a 2015 TRD Faux. Basically, you start with a TRD OffRoad and then pull some parts off a TRD Sport of the same color (hood, bumper, turn signal mirrors). Then you add on some TRD bits (grille, shifter, exhaust for extra noise which I don't have). Then you either buy Bilstein 6112/5160 or the OEM TRD Baja/TRD Pro suspension (branded TRD and "tuned" by them). Oh yeah, then add the fake beadlock wheels.

Most of the TRD Pro is looks, but a lot of people change wheels and suspension after 60+k miles, so... I wouldn't pay extra for a PRO unless I found an Inferno.

you’re going to regear and put an ARB air locker
I imagine most would want to put that into a larger stronger diff
