How long did it take you to get this truck?

I just placed an order for a Double Cab, 6 speed MT, TRD Pro a couple of days ago. The dealer I placed the order with told me they can't really promise an arrival date, but they estimated approximately 3 months.

A competing dealer is telling me that is BS and that the manufacturer won't even make that truck in a MT. Suggesting that the dealer took my deposit money and will just leave me in limbo for a couple of months before attempting to sell me something else.

I ordered my Pro on 11/4/14 and I picked it up on 2/24/15. My dealer told me they didn't even know if they could get the truck. The dealer constantly kept pushing to get me the truck and finally did. The dealer said it was the hardest vehicle he has ever tried to get. Mine is automatic so I don't know about 6spd.

If he had a build sheet, he'd have a build date, and an arrival estimate. That said, just as many dealers will bullshit a vehicle order as they'll try to tell you that another dealer (with your order) is full of shit and try to get your business.

You can't listen to either and expect absolute honesty, but the dealer with your money is the one I'd be talking to and not some other dealer who wants it instead.

Best of the best...I test drove one and was interested, but they wanted to charge me $6,000 over MSRP due to limited supply. I might have pulled the trigger if they had my color choice. I think you got a good deal at MSRP with how rare they are. Congratulations and enjoy!!!
