I made some great progress the last few days! New Sankei 555 ball joints pressed into the lca's, new axle seals installed on the front diff, and installed the lca's and axles onto the truck. Hopefully I only have a few more late nights before its back on the ground and ready for an alignment

Lots of hours put into this front end build, and it's almost done. Ready for an alignment and then the skid plates go back on.

My buddy has been working on a custom mount for my switch pro  (ignore the ziptied wire, it's the rear squadron flushmount wiring I ran up to the front lol)

Rci rear diff skid with custom arp nuts and stainless carriage bolts combo. I wanted arp nuts but wasn’t happy how they looked on the zinc plated hardware. So I picked up stainless carriage bolts but they were too long. Cut them all down to the size I liked and threw them on!

^Looks SO much better. My only suggestion would be to round off those sharp edges created by cutting the bolt down. Not only are they a bit of a cut hazard but ripe for encouraging cross threading.

I've seen those recently and they look really interesting - probably really nice to have. I've always just hit them with a file or grinder wheel or whatever I have on hand at the moment.

Gotta link to what you bought?

Thanks! I may need to order one of those soon. I sure could have used it for the exhaust hangers on the exhaust I'm building right now but I think I've already bought way too many tools for this project.

Got around to mounting my @Baja Designs rock lights. The mounts are pretty rough and still need some fine tuning, but I was waiting for the wiring parts to come in. Once I make the harness I'll be able to finish the brackets and wire the switch pro. I also cut the center console to mount the switch pro within reach of driving positioning.
