I ordered a set and they should be here Thursday, I'm 2WD I will be making some changes to them im sure to make them fit.
I'll document everything with Pictures,mesurements Ect..

 

Same. FedEx tells me I get mine tomorrow.

 

To match all the other skids that are already powder coated in black.

Their site says these are for prerunners, double cab, access cab, and 4wd. A lot of us ordered them based on this to later find they were intended for 4wd only.

mine are shipped and will get them on this weekend. If there are any issues will report back. Worst case it will be like building something from an 80% receiver and will just need a few things modified to work.

 

Hello everyone, after working with a local customer we have identified that these unfortunately do NOT fit the 2wd V6 as we had previously thought. A small change needs to be made to lengthen the CAT shield approximately 1" in order for it to fit. We are making an updated 2wd version as we speak and hope to have them manufactured and shipped in the next 2 weeks. We had previously thought they would fit the 2wd 6-lug models based on previous research with sliders and skids, however the relationship between the front mounting holes and the transmission crossbar is different. The design is updated already, we are cutting the part now on our R&D plasma for test fitting, then we will move to laser cutting and press. Because these ship raw, we are able to move a little faster.

We would like to apologize to anyone who has ordered and will now be delayed. We did not expect these to take off so fast and are working through some jitters. We are committed to getting everyone a great product and want to make these right for you guys. We thank all of you for being part of the process and helping us make changes. Our goal when making these was to offer a much more affordable solution, and while this initial launch has been challenging, we know this is an amazing product and will bring good value to the community.

No, I did not forget that "you can't see it". I'm sure there are people like myself would like to powdered coat color match to our liking. Think of it as blending in with the rest of skids like camouflage, instead of 2 shiny pieces of stainless steel that stands out when someone is underneath the truck and is looking at it.

So you are saying that the 2WDs actually need to be longer than the 4WD models?

Shoot, I thought it would be visa-versa.

I'm still waiting on my cat shields to ship for my Pro, ordered them November 21st with no update on shipping or status. Really hoping they come soon to get them on with convertor thefts going up in my area. They look like they will do the job exceptionally well, especially with the full skid plates.

 

It is stated on the product page that we have a 2-week lead time on this product! As of right now, We are going to be sending an email to customers later today asking if they have a 2 or 4wd Tacoma. If you answer 4wd we will ship it right away!
