Okay I took my beloved Tacoma into the dealer because I'm hearing a pop noise from the "engine bay"

Note: the noise only happens once when I start up the car and drive forward about 5 feet.

I think the best way to explain the "pop" noise is, it sounds like a popcorn cernal popping.

Anyways the TOYO TECH road with me and heard the noise and said, "that's just your ABS system calibrating, it's suppose to do only once when you start up your car"

    Idk if I believe him

Does anybody have anything they might think what it is?

Yup. that's what it is. If you could record it, and post? just to make sure/

first vehicle with ABS was a 200(4?5?) mazda tribute. it didn't make a noise.
All of our vehicles with ABS since makes a vibrating sound when first pulling out. first time I heard it, was on a hyundai in 2007. I thought something was broken so I brought it in and he said it's ABS test. we've had 3 new vehicles since then from different manufacturers and they all do it.

It is a rapid rattling sound, not just 1 pop sound. so, maybe record and post and it can be confirmed or denied?
