Thanks!.. I'm still hesitant to do it my self though but maybe I will look at a few more videos specific to my 3rd gen before doing a DIY install.

It's also awesome that you got to do it with your son. You are passing on a truck that you guys built, not just something you easily bought. He will take care of it more.

mr EMKFLYER, I also am very fortunate to have a Daddy who has always, and still looks out for me. He still does a lot for our family but some of my best memories of time spent with him didn't cost a penny. It was the time he spent with me teaching me how to respect and take care of his cars and keep them looking like brand new. Your son is very fortunate to have you and you are very lucky to have a son who enjoys doing things with you. What a beautiful truck you guys made for him! I also see you are kinda new so Welcome to TacomaWorld!

I was and I still am very fortunate and blessed to have a Dad who showed me how to do this kind of stuff too. In fact, he was in town from Ohio and was there to help my boy and me install the lift yesterday. This will, no doubt, be lasting memories for us all.

What a wonderful photograph mr EMKFLYER. You have a very handsome son! You and his Grandpa must be very proud. That also looks like a very HAPPY truck :). I hope it continues to keep you all safe!

How does it ride with the new suspension? Similar to stock?

It rides as good as factory. It just sits higher.
