Thanks for the write up. Just bought a switch off ebay from Josh for 99.00 with free shipping. Looks new. My truck came with cruise and every thing else I figured I needed but it only had 2 speed wipers. Looks like an easy cheap fix.

Got mine installed! The hardest part was getting the steering wrap to come apart and then go back together. The switch out was a piece of cake. Thank you for wonderful instructions! Even girls can do it!

Yep, worked like a charm. Took my time on the tab. Was initially worried, but it was pretty easy. Hardest part for me was getting bottom wrap piece back on, didn't want to force it. It eventually fit. I think I am hearing a little rub from the back of the steering wheel when I turn it, I guess from hitting the trim pieces. Will double check in the am. Maybe I didn't tighten the screws all the way, or my pieces didn't snap back correctly. Thanks!

Thanks for the write-up, small allen key worked like a charm, my SR came with convenience package so I figured I could live without the int. wipers.
I guessed wrong! a month in and I took care of it today couldn't take it anymore.

Convenience package comes with cruise control and keyless entry but no int. wipers, code LL on window sticker.
Seems odd not to include it considering its 2017.

This is a stupid question but what has everyone done with there old 2 speed switch? I cant imagine it would be a popular item to sell.

Thanks so much. I got a used switch (evidently from a 2012 Camry) and it worked great. (Paid $54 on ebay I think).

Toughest part was the plastic clip.
I tried allen wrench and paper clips and couldn't get anything to budge loose.

I went to a flat head screwdriver and got it out in less than 2.2 seconds.

Other than that, the whole mod was about 4 minutes of work. Really happy because when I was driving in the rain, I couldn't deal with "Low" or "Off" and the mist feature is great now as well!

(Fortunately my SR came with cruise control... not sure why, but glad it did).

Just installed the intermittent wiper switch. Took all of 10 minutes and works great.
Thanks for your write-up. I would not have attempted this unless I saw how easy it was.
