2017 DCSB 6 spd, unsure of the production month but not affected. Bought it in November so guessing late 2016 production in Texas

Just cked my vin# again. Just rear diff recall and no sensor. Goes in on Thursday for recall, 5k service, nav problem, lca plugs, etc...luckily no diff leak or I would not take it in...

Map cursor and compass on 4" display just spin in circles. If I change the map display the cursor will stop but the map will just spin constantly...lol...other than that it works...been that way since new but dealer is over an hour away so just waited till 5k service

Thanks, I am not impressed with the nav system.
Probably knows there is a better nav system there.

    What a fun truck!
I just spoke with my local dealer and he said that if there is a leak in the rear diff, Toyota does not currently have a fix for it. He said he might need to keep my taco for a couple weeks to a few months while Toyota figures this crap out. The dealership already has one Tacoma in there with a leak that is just sitting there. They gave the guy a dodge dart as a rental car! A Dodge F***ing Dart! I would Sh*t myself if they asked me to drive that POS. :bananadead:

On the plus side, if there is no leak, then the dealership will just re-torque the diff bolts and send me on my merry way. . . . I go in on Saturday, here's hoping!!! :fingerscrossed:

Mine was dry, only had to re-torque. If I get a new CPS all the better.

I had a 68 cherry red Dodge Dart convertible and it was a sweet car, but, I'm sure they've gone downhill since then! ;)

NO COMPARISON! 2015 vs 1968. Would you make the trade?

You are right, the 68 is better. I did not have a cool hood scoop like that though!

Owner letters will be released in July for the effected VINs ... Most trucks I've checked don't have it listed. Dealers have a letter already.
