Dude...your truck must have been the first out of the line in 2016! LOL

What would your life be without it giving you a reason to be famous/infamous here at TW?

I'm so stoked for all the copycat threads that are going to pop up over the next day or so. Those responses are always a blast.

Do not apologize-nice to know what is going on before most others.

Anyone know if I decide to change out the CPS on my own dime, will Toyota Corp. reimburse me for the cost of the CPS?

Shame on QA, good on Toyota for acknowledging and correcting the problem. The hits just keep coming.

According to the link for VIN# look up I am scott free on both recalls!! :dancingbacon::broccoli::bananadance::headbang:. Makes me feel good. Lucky so far I guess. @smitty99 This guy has had nothing but BAD luck on his rig and he looks to be correct on CPS and rear diff.

This is weird, as my hood does not vibrate at all. Maybe I got a good one? Can only hope they do recall the hoods and I get a new one without rock chips once that comes out...:dancingbacon:

I would verify you have the updated part--don't count on them to tell you.

Interesting, when I input the VIN for my 2017 Tacoma built in November, I get:

There are no open Safety Recalls or Service Campaigns for this vehicle.

I would have at lease thought the diff torque issue would have shown up.

Off-roads are not included in the recall, we have a bigger/different differential.
