Maybe the OR isn't included yet, like the diff recall? Just a guess, but may be included later. BTW, you have the same truck I had!

Bought mine Oct 2015 and no recalls. Second 3rd Gen my dealer sold. So scratch that theory.

It's not a theory guys. It's called data collection. Or just curiosity. Even if there were a test pool to figure it out, there will always be exceptions that's why when basing a theory on data collection, normally the top and bottom 5-10% of data collected will be noted but not factored in.

Traded for a 4Runner pro......didn't want to keep dealing with issues, so I traded. I believe toyota will get these issues fixed, and one day I'll get another taco.....in a MT!

My 2016 OR is on the list for the CPS. Always wondered if mine was one of the bad ones, I guess now I know.

Somewhere out there is the unlucky bastards who have had all the recalls so far, the airbag bolt recall, the diff leak, and the CPS failure.

Then you have those other unlucky bastards who have a bunch of other problems.

Then you have @smitty99 ... The poor fucker somewhere all in between

I dont know, if it real is only 32,000 units that were bad that's a smallish percentage (~9%) of the total trucks produced. They would have to get reports back from a decent amount of those 32k to investigate it as a widespread issue don't you think. Then to narrow it down to select VINs that were issued defective parts. That is a bit of work on their part. It does suck that some went and spent their own money but it was for your own piece of mind. Don't see how that's on them completely. Things like recalls take a lot of time and data. Just my .02
