I have been reading all of the threads on the anytime fog light mod. I just did my own....totally reversible and a go around for those of you that deal with inspections. This is for trucks that already have fog lights.

The fog light relay has 4 pins. The two smaller silver ones send power to each fog light. The one in the middle loses power when you switch to high beam.

All I had to do was to make 4 small jumper wires to relocate the fog light relay inside the under hood fuse/relay panel. The lid closes perfectly. There is a small knock out in the panel box in the rear corner....I drilled it out with a small drill bit big enough to run a wire through. I ran a green wire to the parking light supply wire (purple). I used a quick connect and ran the green wire to the wire already running to the middle pin on the relay. So when the high beams come the middle pin won't lose power. You have to have both wires running to the middle pin.

The fog lights basically run anytime the parking lights are on....so you can run fogs with high and low beam at the same time.

I ran the green wire (circled in red) coming from the parking light into the cab to a small toggle and run back to the relay. This way I can regain control of the fog light switch from inside the truck. (If you don't care about that, you can forget the toggle.)
When you get your truck inspected turn off the black (unlabeled) toggle so the lights work as they are wired from the factory. Drive off and flip your switch to go back to "anytime mode"

Best thing is you can put everything back in like 1 minute without messing anything up. I hope the info helps someone.

Thank You so much for this, I literally just bought fog lights for my truck and had no clue what so ever on how to wire them in, this explains it so well and will make it so easy.

Thanks for the information. Most the info out there is just pictures after the lights are installed or useless general information. I know how to do electrical and wiring but I don't have a shop manual that tells you how to take it apart the dash and remove the bezels without butchering them all up. Now if I pray to the sun Gods, they may give me a warm enough day to install them.

I finally did put my fog lights in. I was waiting for warmer weather but it didn't look like it was going to happen so I worked on them in the driveway when it got up to 25 F. Unfortunately I have not mastered the art of stripping wires and feeling around where I can't see with gloves on so I did it bare handed. Yes, it hurt. I had the Winjet kit, the heads on the screws would strip very easily so I pulled a couple of bolts and a plastic pin in the wheel well to pull that back enough so I could get decent pressure on the screw while pushing in on the front so none of the plastic would break. The other issue was the Winjet switch. Seems to be the size that would fit recessed in the spot where my clutch start cancel switch is. I got the switch in but it's not recessed. It looks ok but it's it doesn't look OEM. If it bothers me I'll change it but right now it doesn't bother me. I was surprised how easy the dash and kick plate came off and went back on. I couldn't see where the hood release cable went through from inside the truck, everything is very tight under that dash, especially with the clutch pedal assembly. Thank you for the pictures and instructions, they saved my a lot of time.
Off topic, does anyone else have a problem with room under the dash? I have a manual and when I have on regular work boots they hit (the upper part that is over your leg) the dash when using the clutch. Never had that problem with another vehicle. I have to carry a pair of sneakers where ever I go to drive it.

So since I have a standard I cannot install fog lights? Or the button would just have to go elsewhere?

You can install them. On my SR it had two spots for switches on the left side of the dash, a shorter wider space and a taller thinner space. The taller thinner space was already taken by the clutch start cancel switch and the kit came with a switch that fits that spot. I got it into the shorter - wider space but it's not recessed (required a small amount of filing where you can't see it and won't interfere with the correct size switch). I ordered a switch that should fit that space and will most likely put that one in soon. There may also be places to put switches near the center console (near USB port) depending upon what options you have but they also require the shorter wider switch.
I don't know if any of the kits out there have the correct switch that would fit the shorter wider space. The person who started this thread had a manual and used a Offroad Arsenal Fog Light.

I installed the switch that fit today. It uses the same connector as the Winjet fog light harness and is the wiring can stay the same, just plug it in. This switch has blue lights and is supposed to be led so it shouldn't get warm like the one provided in the kit. The switch with the kit used to get warm after 10 minutes or so. They probably had incandescent bulbs in it. Here is the web page with the switch https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4GI5LU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .
