Yes you can however they're used. If you find one brand new for that price, link me and I'll beat that price.

    $120 new
    $80 used

That's 50% more.... that's worth it to buy used, IMO.

A used one is coming off either a 2016 or 2017 so it's not like it's worn out...

Actually it's not. Majority of them I see listed are out of cars as old as 2013-2014 Same switch was used in the Camry, corolla, whole bunch of cars. Personally, I would never install used parts in my brand new truck, even if it is only 3-4 years old. I paid $130 from Toyota, $100 is my price. If it doesn't sell here, it'll go on Ebay. You won't find one NEW for less than my asking price. If you do, show me, i'll beat it by 10% and still offer free shipping.

So ive been noticing a noise when using the intermittent wiper function on all three settings. The noise happens when the wind shield wipers go down and i can feel the snaping noise from the column. Now when i just use the high and low settings no snaping noise. This only happens while using the intermittent functions. Is this normal? I never noticed it till tonight.

Remember mine only makes noise when using the intermittent feature. My niece has a 2014 corrolla and im going to check hers here in a bit. If it doesnt do it then thats what i get for paying 35 dollars for a used part.

From what I've seen, most (if not all) Toyota Parts actually have their "own" factory warranty, anything you put on your truck from OEM is covered, and furthermore, as 2016 Tacoma SR (4 Runner pic) pointed out, they probably wouldn't even notice, esp since the part comes standard on all other Taco trims (why Toyota decided to commission a different, special, low end extra part is beyond me)

Also, haven't noticed a snapping noise on mine while using any of the "new" wiper settings.

Appreciate the write up pal. I watched a youtube video where they installed intermittent wipers on a 2014, but the tabs are quite different on the 3rd gens. The second tab was giving me fits until i stumbled onto this thread. #srproblems
