I believe if you have you wheels clean and get a good stick to them maybe use a heat gun to get them on they should hold up.

Finally got around to installation

I just got my Tacoma and had them put 4Runner Pro wheels on from the dealer. So now I have my original Sport wheels sitting around and I'm thinking of putting winter tires on them for cold weather and snow season coming up. Wondering if I order these decals and put them on before I have tires, if they are going to get damaged/displaced when they actually put tires on them? Should I wait until after I have tires on them before applying the decals? Would be nice to put them on now when they are off the truck and no tires so easy to work on inside where it is warm and they are more portable/manageable.

Also wondering how well they will hold up over winters, since that would pretty much be the time I'm using the wheels with them. Anyone had them long enough to go through a season?

 

I know that a few guys have had them on and had their wheels changed. They said that they tire shop didn’t even know that they were on.

As for the winter weather. If you put them on well, make sure your tires are clean and degreased they should let 2-3 years. The vinyl is a oracle 651 vinyl made for outsdoors.
