Ordered. I think this product is great for those of us that want to get the black wheel look but don't want to shell out $700-$800 for new ones yet. And to be honest the stock Sport wheel is a perfectly good one in my opinion - the vinyls should just tweak the look a bit to make it look more unique. I bought those TRD center cap decals a while back (took forever to arrive from Thailand) specifically to combine with these vinyls, excited to be able use them now!

if you put them on correctly, cleaning and taking your time and hit them with some heat, i wouldn't say them come off EASY. they will take some work. the work will come from them most likely ripping into pieces and you constantly having to find a new corner to lift up. So more a time thing than difficult thing.
but that is good. you want them to apply that well so that they last through washes, off roading, etc.

The little one wanted in on the action this morning. She thinks I’m cutting all of these for her Uncle Bud. @Pikestaco

Here's a guide to help you install if you're not sure how to go about it. This is on my OR but it should be pretty much the same. The only difference I see is the Sport decals may benefit by only partially removing the bottom backing to first adhere to the wheel section. The Sport wheels are best applied by partially peeling away the top backing first, stick, then peel the rest. Hope this helps :)

How do these hold up under the constant thermo cycling of hot brakes?

Awesome video. I was going to make one for the sport but dang. You know anyone with a sport so you can do it. haha. Well done.

I would recommend starting from the top though. Peel the sport vinyl half way back like this. But wear gloves like southpaw did. I did this quickly as a test just to check fittment.

I've only had them on for ~1100-1200 miles but there isn't any indication of thermal degradation.

The heat from brake pads would dissipate significantly - the thermal energy has to pass through open air and the thickness of the alloy rim before it even gets to the vinyl. Longer trips would be more at risk of course.

The vinyl used is rated at 176 F (80 C) with no variance in structure.

Thanks man. I'm working on getting a Sport for a new video. Good to know about which end to start from, thanks! I forgot about the top middle strip so top-down is the better approach for sure.

There is a thread for OR version. There are some pics in there and it looks good.
