Bring on the fog. Installed fog lights without too much of a problem. They work great and the lights that came in the kit are plenty bright. Would not have tried it without your instructions. Would never attempted to take out part of the dash.

Small problem with the wiring harness. The ground wire and the wire that goes threw the firewall were on the right side. Easy fix by just pulling the pass threw wire out of the shield tube. The ground wire was only about 12" long and spliced in to the ground wire attached to the right fog light. Apparently whoever built the harness ran out of black wire. Also an easy fix by just connecting the ground wire to a bolt.

While putting the lower dash panel back in place, a small 2" X3" flat rubber piece fell out. Could not see where it fell from. Picture (both sides) with a part number is attached. I put the dash panel back in place without the rubber piece.

    Thanks again for your help.

The rubber piece goes in the cubby hole left of the steering wheel.

These trucks look a lot better with fog lights, imo. Can't wait to do this.

I didn't even know I had one until it fell from the sky and landed on the floor of my truck. It does fit perfectly in the little cubby hole.

Was looking at the post on LED fog lights and saw this picture you had posted. Looks like you had one at one time. It may have fallen out like mine as there is nothing to hold it in place other than gravity.image.jpg

Son of a gun! I remember this picture and just went out and looked at the truck and it's not there. The thing is I never used that cubby or put anything in it so idk how it fell out......

Just a heads up to everyone, the wiring harness i got with my kit had the wiring run differently. For some reason they ran the ground with the long side of the fog light plug, as well as the connector to the switch. Not a big deal to cut and re run the wires. The switch wire is long enough to be removed from their plastic covering and re routed. Only took a few extra minutes...

On the plus side i got mine installed without removing the lower part of the dash...the perks of having long arms haha

Got my Fog Lights in ... BUT .... Don't Work!!! I'v e got everything wired correctly. Can't believe that both bulbs are bad! I got power to the switch and power out to the relay connection but am no electrician. Anyone know how to check a relay?? Or how to bypass?

Did you insert the pins correctly where the harness connects to the fogs? The install instructions have the pins going in the wrong way. Just one possibility, i doubt you received 2 bad fog lights.

I believe theres also an inline fuse, check to make sure the fuse is good too.

Ya what Chris said, check your connections you must have the power going to the ground and the ground gong to the power. If so just flip the plugs. Also you can use a volt meter or on multimeter on DC to test the current!

Also another thing if you wired it up like mine and got power thru the igniton Fuse you have to have the ignition turned on with or without the truck running to power up the relay when you hit the switch!
