So I am in desperate need of an upgrade. Currently on 2.5" spacers and 1" block in rear. Ride sucks, no travel, and spacers suck. I searched but didn't see this addressed. Honestly, I quit looking after I reached page 5; eyes got tired.

Anyways, per usual, I am prob going to end up with 5100's. My issue is, would it better to crank them up to 2.5 and buy UCA's, or leave them set to 0, and install 3" lift spindles?

I've heard good reviews on both. I do a lot of traveling (driving) for work so I need the ride to be comfortable. I also like to take it off road. I don't get to crazy, but would like to be able to get a bit more flex than I have with the spacers.

I would like to stay around or lower than $1500. :help:

Get real lift coils and keep 5100s at 0 setting.

whats the difference in on/off road perf, with 5100's (at 0) and 3" lift coils, compared to 5100's (at 0) with stock coils but with a 3" spindle?

Do you have a TRD OR 4x2? If so, I agree spindles are the way to go.

    If not, coils.

    Who makes a 3" spindle?

I'd just do the spindles. Add the 5100's if your current shocks are worn.

You'll probably need something in the rear unless you want the front end to be higher.

I've only seen the 4" spindles. I think someone else makes a 3.5" version, but I've never seen a 3".

EDIT: CST and Total Chaos make the 3.5" fabricated spindle. Around the same price as the Camburg fabricated 4". Maxtrac cast 4" are much cheaper.

Thanks for the advice. I'm leaning more towards the spindles. Are there any additional mods needed when installing the 4" spindles?

    That's actually a 4" spindle combined with a 2" spacer lift, right?

I think he just had a typo. I only have the Maxtrac spindle and he knows that.
But the longer brake lines come with the maxtrac spindles for whoever was asking
