I have a 16 pro 4Runner and I’m adding new 21 OEM LED’s. The new headlamps have the three pin. I’m wondering which harness to purchase. Ideally simplest without buttons to press. The low beams don’t work yet obviously but I noticed the high beams/ DRLs are halogen. I have a set of Xenon Depot LED Drivers from my previous modes set that I’m wondering if I could use or if one of your harnesses would be better? I definitely like the look of LED’s as the DRL.

Quad high beams if you have 3 pins on the headlight.

I’m up grading my headlights from 2018 OEM to the bi-LED out of a 2022 PRO. Everything works except for the low beams, which are the LED’s. I’m assuming I only need the conversion harness without shutter wire. Can you @daveeasa confirm this please? I’ve loaded the plugs on the back of these lights. The first is 2018 OEM headlight.

It looks to me like you are pinned for shutter so you can choose any of the 3 harnesses.

^^ That's the thread for more detail on this subject. Most prefer the quad high beam option b/c then you can do an HIR 9011 and have some pretty awesome high beam action. If you do the no shutter harness then you'll use the 9005 for drl and high beam and you won't be taking full advantage of the LED projector capabilities. That matches the behavior from before but note that the high beam reflector bucket, per @mynameistory, may be a little different and may not give as great of a high beam output as before.

If you don't care about high beams in general, the no shutter option is the most economical.

If I order the harness without shutter and not Happy can I exchange it for the other harness with shutter?

I think you would be best off asking questions about how the various options function in the 4 runners forum. I don’t own a 4 runner so I can’t help you much.
