The utility pkg has the rear seat delete

I looked at a utility pkg and it seems like the rear panel did look a little different, don`t quote me on that as I am not 100% sure of it.

How do you like the headrests being gone now ?
I like it much better with them removed.

Is anyone noticing a lot of road noise in your access cab. Mine is like the rear window is down but it is not.
Even after insulation of the back of the cab still too much noise compared to the other new trucks

No, I think you got a lemon, if I was you I`d sell it.

Can you cry anymore about your problem than what you already have ?

I have a lot of wind noise especially with a cross wind. I have been trying to track it down without any results. I have wind noise even when stopped with the engine off and windows up. It seems to be at the top of the access door, drivers side. It is not a howling noise and it is not coming from under the truck. It is a very annoying problem.

I am not experiencing this problem but it sounds like a bad seal, if it were mine I`d take it to the dealership and have them check it out.

Hope they get it fixed for you.

Yes sir! I knew I didn't like the headrest but didn't realize how much they actually interfered with visibility until I removed them. I spoke with the service manager about locating the panel for the utility package and he said they don't make one. I'm going over today to show them photos and info that took me all of 5 minutes to find on the web. I'd rather see the dealership just look into things that they are unsure and get back with us than to make statements of fact that aren't true. I'm happy enough to leave the panel as is but the utility package would buy me another 3 inches at the base. (Insert jokes here) :)

Defiantly louder road noise than the 15 Colorado I traded in. I can live with the noise though.

I haven't noticed crazy road noise. Mainly because I rarely drive without music playing haha. It's also one of those topics with cars that I never paid much attention to.

I like to be able to hear my engine so unless AC/DC, Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, Foghat, Meatloaf, (just to name a few), are playing the radio is off.

Took my truck to the dealer. They tightened the doors on the driver's side. Problem seemed to be fixed. Saw a nice silver SR5 with a few nice features. Traded my white 2016 SR for a 2016 Silver SR5. I had a problem seeing the dash cluster in the SR. Could not see the red needles.

I like the dash cluster in the SR5 much better with the white needles and the digital speedo in the center. Took a bit of a loss, but I feel it is better to be happy with the purchase than to be frustrated. Silver sky was my first choice. I settled for the white. Didn't want to be a settler.

I thought of this thread as I reviewed this picture that has my Access Cab in the background. You can't make this stuff up!

My wife and I were just by chance driving by this church and there was a woman taking a picture of the sign. I probably wouldn't have even read it, if she hadn't been there as it appears much smaller from the road shown on the left. I thought it would be something funny, but not quite THIS funny! Drove back around and decided to share.

It's perfect for me. And just the wife and two small dogs when camping, etc. My first truck and I wanted a long bed for some renovation projects, etc. And to me the the AC just defines the Tacoma as I saw it over the years. I can see however many people would want/need a double and can live with the short bed.

I am getting a little air leak as reported by others on the drivers side. Hopefully resolved by adjustment as the passenger side does not have the issue.

This forum has made the experience so much better with regard to things like the tips/tricks thread. Haven't been truly OR yet (will do soon), but have been on some very poorly maintained private/public dirt roads in the Ozarks with large rock outcroppings, snow/mud that made those trips so much more enjoyable.

A weight distribution hitch has made towing the camper we purchased at the same time quite comfortable once you learn to let the engine rev more than without the trailer.

MGM was the only color immediately available fitted as I wanted. I really like the color although I was attracted to the red (different spec) on the lot as well. As I've started seeing the other colors on the road I think I could have lived with any of them with the possible exception of black. I've had a black vehicle for years and just wouldn't want to deal with the cleaning on a truck. I agree with others that pictures don't do some colors justice. Especially the inferno and blue pearl.

Thanks to forum members evaluations of the various options for each, I've been able to choose seat covers, flaps, bed air compressor, remote start, cargo divider, sill protectors, and tailgate lock. They'll all have to wait a little bit though....

20% tint 6500k led headlights. 3000k led fogs. Debadged. 3inch front and 2 inch rear level. TRD pro grill.
Just got it. My first "TACO". Blacked out all emblems. And the white Trd decal is now black. Added a black TRD emblem to the tail gate. And black letters into tail gate.
