I recently purchased a set of 2016 tacoma wheels off of a guy and he also included the set of Toyota Bilstein (48510-04190) front shocks (not including coils) and set of leaf springs that he took off of his truck because he put a lift on it at the dealership.

My question is, are all "Toyota Bilsteins" the same? Will these shocks that came off of his 2016 tacoma fit my 2002 tacoma? And if so will it give me any lift if they will fit since I have the stock yellow shocks now.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Shocks don't give you lift, however if the entire coilover was given to you (spring and shock) it might be a different story. It would probably be minimal at best...assuming it fits. 4600 is the series, not the actual part number. I'm going to venture and say they won't fit (could be wrong). If you have a free hour or three, throw them on...see what happens... :notsure:

I just updated my post, its just the shocks not shocks and coils.

If that's the case it's really not worth the effort to try anything with them IMO.

Okay so I updated my post after looking at the shocks again tonight. They aren't 4600 like I had initially thought. They are just plain Jane "Toyota Bilsteins" Part number. (48510-04190)

Any comment now as to whether or not they will fit my 02?
