2016 black tacoma paint problem

Ive had a few different black trucks in the past, but unfortunately with my new 16 tacoma ive noticed that the paint scratches extremely easily. Anyone else had the same problem? Could it potentially be that toyota used a very cheap finishing paint on their new model tacomas?

 

All new paints are soft, making them vulnerable. Black just happens to show flaws easier.

yup same problem on my inferno, it looks like the clear coat has weak composition

 

same issue here, lots of rock chips, some RUST already and scratches from a snow brush

all paints are different. Some have harder clears then others. My 2012 Mustang GT was black I traded for the truck and its paint was so soft that even the most delicate MF would cause swirl marks if you dont take the utmost care. Using a Dry MF was a nono on it. I am not talking cheap as MF towels you get at walmart or advanced auto. Those I wouldnt even let come near the paint.
If anyone thinks a Snow brush wont scratch paint is just wishful thinking. That would scratch ANY paint other then Powder coating. Use proper items on your paint and you wont have issues. Using nasty snow brushes, DIY auto brushes, or any drive through car wash with brushes will destroy paint. Its not a issue with toyota
