I have a 2016 Off-road with 56K on it. I've never off-roaded the vehicle and just drive normal day to day up here in the Boston area. I've been having some weird BSM issues where the system with work, but while driving it will flash both indicators and sometimes will even beep like theres someone in the Blind Spot. Sometimes it will do it for the entire drive I'm on and sometimes It will function normally. When it happens, I can even hear the relay click when both indicators go on at the same time. I'm not getting any BSM errors in the information screen as well.

It's never been rear-ended and theres no damage/dirt on the bumper. I've heard that maybe there's a TSB regarding some wiring harness issues tied to the system but before I fight this one out with Toyota, I want to have all the ammo I can.

Anyone else seen weird issues like this?

Yeah, I've seen those posts. Mine isn't throwing any codes (at least that appear in the information system). I also figured maybe it was dirty and blasted the bumper with the high-pressure wand at the car wash. It seems like this is a manufacturing/design issue and while my truck is higher mileage, it's only 2.5 years old. I'm not looking forward to this fight.

are your headlights replaced with LEDs? That's what Toyota tried to blame my BSM issue on and its showing up on my instrument panel has an error...Been waiting for a thread like this because I'll be damned if I'm tearing out 6 LEDs out of the front of my truck just to prove them wrong :|

In case anyone is wondering, I paid the $20 for a couple days of TechInfo.Toyota.com so I could look at the TSBs. The TSB for the wiring issue is tied to "T-SB-0213-17"

Eh, not too worried about the $20 but it's good to know in the future

This is a common problem. The backside of bumper gets dirt/salt/ice up under it. You have to clean back/underside very well. It may take a while to correct it's self (driving on Hwy/with traffic) after good cleaning. It's been brought up on here many times, and this solved issues with system.

    Stock headlights. Stock truck.

System goes batshit crazy still then works. Went 3 days where it would not even turn on (no light on the dash switch) and now it's back again. Pretty sure this is the issue with water in the harness.
