2016 Corolla just died. Help

    My dad had to drive to the shed and I said just take mine, he started it and it died after a revolution or two.

    Go to crank it again and it just about freely spins. Seems kinda like no compression. I’m guessing the timing chain/belt is hidden inside. The serpentine looks fine.

    Like I said it’ll freely spin with the starter and hiccup intermittently. It’s under warranty but Toyota is closed til tomorrow. Any insight til I can give them a ring??

    Nope, they couldn’t figure it out after getting it started.
