    Hi everyone,
I have a 2016 Tacoma double cab shortbed 4wd. I am looking at purchasing a bilstein kit through Headstrong that will include the dakar pack. I only want about a 2" max lift for my truck, and continue to use my 265/75/16 tires. So, should I get the 2nd or 3rd generation extended travel shocks? Also, I'm thinking the 887 coilsprings up front. The only weight up front is a Mobtown front recovery bar and occasionally a winch. Is this going to be the proper setup? I am guessing I will need to remove the 3rd spring on the dakar pack. What settings for the billies? My gosh my brain is frazzled over all this. Oh, what about the uca's? Do they need replaced as well? Holy cow! Thanks in advance.

5100s at 0 if you're using aftermarket lift coils.

    No UCAs.

Dakar pack will yield more than 2" of lift.

Removing a leaf in the Dakars should get you back down toward the 2" range in the rear.

If you remove the long overload on the Dakars, you'll still get 2.25" in the back. That's how mine are set. You could also remove the 3rd leaf, but then you'll be less than 2" in the back.

So, bilsteins set at "0", 887 coils, dakars with the 3rd spring removed and no upper control arms. Sound about right? Would you recommend the 2nd or 3rd generation bilsteins? Will this be close to the 2" that I'm looking for?
