I liked the Trifecta, I used to have it on my old truck

I think it cuts a nice profile, and very lightweight. Easily removed in about 30 seconds by one person. On my F150 it kept the water out just fine, the only water I got was some from around the tailgate which would only have been stopped by installing a tailgate gasket. It was minimal amount of water, and not a big deal so I never bothered.

I liked it enough that I might give the hard version a try this go around :)

    Sure thing.

FYI TRS did do the right thing and agreed to replace both bulbs.

I don't know if they pay attention to this forum or not, but they're getting a lot of bad rep around here because of the loose bulbs and multiple people now have had their bulbs die after a few weeks from what I've read. It's definitely made me rethink about ordering from them ...

If you order a kit with 4500k bulbs, they fit PERFECT. Very tight and solid - go with those. I reinstalled the 4500k's back in the truck and they are great - they just don't match the LED fogs, but neither did the 5500k bulbs. The 5500k bulbs also fit looser. I also received one defective 5500k bulb - it did not produce the beam pattern required. They are shipping me replacement bulbs sometime in January since the 5500k bulbs are on backorder right now.

Were you able to figure out a fix for the loose fit with the 5500k? I drive over a lot of shitty roads here in Michigan, so it would drive me nuts having loose bulbs. I guess I'll just get the 4500k which is okay with me. I'm more concerned with light output than the color anyways. I'm also not worried about the color matching the fogs because I'll put yellow fogs in, which for me have always worked a lot better in the snow (less reflection than white fogs)

You will be much happier with the 4500k bulbs. The ones I received fit super tight - like it was a bit of a pain in the ass to get them installed. That's a good thing. The rest of the HID kit is nice. They fire off consistently, warm up quickly and are bright. I am glad I went with the 50/55 Watt kit. You will need to aim your headlights down a good bit after the install though.

Monitor Amazon.com for "Warehouse Deals" under the "Used" section for the bed mat. Mine was used but showed no signs of use, but it was the long bed mat which was supposed to be a Short Bed mat. They ended up giving it to me for free (full refund). I cut it down to 5' on the cab side of the mat and it fit perfectly.

Approaching 2,000 miles now. Added Air Dam, Pop-N-Lock Tailgate Lock and have an SR grille on the way. No new issues to report. My phone mount and Uniden LRD950 blend mount are working great. Really enjoying the truck.

I picked up a Flir One camera - here's the truck after a trip to San Fran and back (215 or so miles).
