I have not measured the length yet vs. the 2nd Gen, but I like the throw feel better.

Gorgeous truck qnlya and congrats! Thanks for sharing pictures. That's the exact truck I am getting, minus the color, with most likely the exact same suspension UCA's and leafs. Can't wait to see pictures and a new review of the truck with the suspension installed. When are you having it done?

I am pretty dead set on MGM but every time I see pictures of quicksand on here I have second thoughts. Damn you! I like that it's different. No matter where I go around town I see Tacoma's everywhere. You will be hard pressed to find quicksands roaming the roads for a few years.

Very nice OP. Great pic's! That color looks awesome. I'd love the 6 spd manual, but I'm torn because my wife can't drive a stick and I'd like her to be able to drive the Tacoma in a pinch.

I look forward to your post lift/tires report.

Looking forward to seeing pics of lift and tires.

Just changed the oil. Yes, changed the oil. I always change the oil first day on new vehicles. Easier to get to the cartridge filter unit than on my 2012 4Runner, still a pain to drop the skid plate when it was so easy on the 1GR-FE 2nd Gens.

You picked the right color for where you live. The truck matches the sandy hills behind it perfectly. Maybe the aliens won't see you now :alien:

Have you tested the auto too? Curious how the manual feels from a dead stop compared to the auto. I would guess the manual feels more powerful off the line but I could be wrong there.

Is the manual cheaper than the auto?

Man, if Toyota only offered up the manual in the long bed, I'd go down to the bank right now and get qualified for a loan. I'd have a nice $10k down payment ready too. Toyota are you listening? There is the demand!

truly offensive that Toyota is not offering the Access Cab Off-Road with manual. Assholes in suits making asshole decisions.

I did not realize they don't put them in the access cab long bed either. I just always wanted one in the DCLB. That really sucks!
