Hey there. Tonight is the Magnaflow cat-back install on my 2016 TRD Sport. Any particular tricks I should know beforehand, on removal of the stock system?

    Thanks in advance!

Helps to lift up the back end up to allow more clearance to get the system out from under the truck. Just twist it around a bit until you find a way to fit it through. Took me about 15 minutes including clamp and hanger removal, a little WD-40 on the rubber hangers helps get them out and a pry bar.

Silicone works better then WD40 as a rubber hanger lube. WD40, since it's a petroleum product, has a tendancy to swell rubber, silicone doesn't do that.

It was a piece of cake. 40-45 minutes, even with taking my time and being anal about bolt torques, fit and adjusting the tip. Man is this thing loud- much louder and raspier under throttle than I expected. Hope it smooths out as it breaks in.....

On my 14, even just lowering the spare gave you plenty of room to wiggle out the exhaust.

But pretty straight forward removal and install.
