    I've driven a 2013 F-250 Super Duty with the 6.7 and the TRD Tacoma that we just purchased.
    My personal opinion is to keep your F-250.
    Fuel mileage wise, there's not much difference.
    Ford F-250 is more comfortable, and way better driveability. Maintenance cost is a factor, I agree, but your at fairly low miles and what you spend on a new Tacoma will buy you some maintenance.
    Also, if you hold the Pink Slip on the Ford, it's a no brainer decision in my opinion.

    I go from a 2019 F250 4wd diesel to a 2021 TRD OR DCSB 4wd a couple of times a week.
    I like the tacoma, it's easy to park and I don't care how many miles I pile up.
    I like the F250 a whole lot more. However, it was over 2x the cost.
    Really not much comparison. Two different sizes, different uses. one pulls like a freight train. The other seems to think a utility trailer with a polaris ranger is a heavy load.

    I go between two trucks on the ranch. My former daily driver, a 2014 f250 diesel, that now is used exclusively for towing and a 2019 Taco 3.5 MT. I cant speak to how the 3.5L would be when paired with the auto trans, but with the manual, its a pleasure to drive in the country and even pulls a quad or rtv once in a while too. Easier to manuever, service and cheaper to run. 24k on it now and thus far nothing but regular maintenance and the fuel pump recall

    Apologies for delay; deployments seem to make time stand still, hard to believe it's the end of Jan. 2022--anyways, quick update below;

    First--I appreciate the replies, really enjoy feedback after months of being away.

    Second--the 2016 F-250 6.7PSD has been sold. I could not resist as it's a sellers market. Ownership wise, the F-250 was the least expensive vehicle I have owned and least amount of depreciation through years of ownership.

    Third--I picked up a 2019 F-150 XLT, FX4, SuperCrew w/ Sport package, 3.5L EB, shortbed, in gray, w/ 22k on the odo. Truck is quiet, quick, sips fuel (until boost kicks in) and rides like a champ. Since ownership, I have added 5Star ECM/TCM tuning, Roadwire leather, Raptor steering wheel, Raptor carbon shifter, Bilstein 2" level / rear shocks, Diode Dynamics foglights (awesome), replaced speakers, Husky liners, and am in the market for a rear bed cover.
    So far, 12k miles later, truck is great--no complaints.
