2016 Fall Camp & Ride (Citrus & Redrock): Photos and Video

A couple of us were talking about what was under those plastic chrome hub caps that came on my truck, well, they are nice alloy wheels as someone stated. I know, just like everyone else, but much better tan those chrome hub caps. Now to get tires, I'm thinking Coopers.

where is red rock? havnt heard of it before but it looks pretty good. cant take my new truck places like though, to long of a wheel base

 

Wasn't far off from citrus. The trails were pretty much for a 4 wheeler most places. To tight to drive through. We did a little anyway. I don't know the location exactly though

At first they were...until we found the 4WD areas in the back.

 

Although alot of the we're even to tight to fit the ogt. They were a little bigger at least

 

Well, I admit the one I popped the CV axle on was probably meant for an ATV, but the tour we took after that seemed like they were all plenty wide for trucks/jeeps.

Edit: Although, yeah, they probably would have been pretty damn tight for a full-sized truck...especially one with a long wheel base.

 

I ended up going down a couple over grown atv trails in ocala with the bronco 2 years ago, never want to do that again. i had to turn the music uo so i wouldnt hear my paint being destroyed lol.
Is red rock a legal spot, or the local mud hole?

 

Undetermined. I don't think it's illegal. Didn't see any "no trespassing" signs and the ATVs that ride out there aren't exactly subtle, but it's definitely a "local" wheelin' area. It's likely the owner just doesn't care if people go out there to ride or wheel...at least until assholes go out there and start dumping trash turning it into a land fill.

 

I've met a few land owners over the years, most didn't care as long as no lawsuits(quads), and no trash. When that changed, our riding areas started disappearing.

I drove over there the other day, I've been there years ago on quads, back when I just moved here. I peeked my nose in a little, but being alone I left. Leaning towards a lift.
