    Hi guys,

I got a 2016 SR and wanting to put fog lights in it and the retrofit source said there fogs from the 2012-2015s are the same! So most likely I'll be buying the led XB fog lights from them. If if anyone has a picture of the fog light switch in the cab and what spot it goes in, would be wonderful! Idk if I can get away with using a 2015 wiring harness for the fogs!

Next to my clutch cancel button, caused I took off that lower panel and there is a plug back there that's a blank. Going go have to take off the lower shield later maybe and see if it's pre wired or not.

Also I'm wondering where do I get a warning harness if it's not pre wired. You would think it would be pre wired for togs but my 2013 base wasn't....

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I seem to remember the fog lights control being part of the lights/turn signal stalk on the steering column. I think it's just an added section kind of like how the intermittent wiper control is on the wiper stalk (and then it's missing if you don't have that option).

I was actually pleased that it was done this way. On most of the vehicles I have owned, the fog lights are a separate switch and it's a pain that you have to turn them on every time you put on your lights. Years ago I had a Mitsubishi with the control the same way Toyota has it, and you could just leave it in the on position, and whenever you turned on your lights the fogs would go on as well automatically.

I wouldn't buy a stock id just run a separate wiring harness for them. Cause when you have them in with your lights they will turn off when you hit your high beams!

So they integrated it into the headlight stalk on the 16s.....

    Yeah.

But it appears at first glance that the inverter switch is the same one they used in the 2nd gen. I don't own one so I can measure anything. But if that's true, then the 2nd gen fog light switch will fit in the 3rd gen inverter switch blank. And there are a lot of other switch options in that size.
