2016 Formula 1 Season Paddock

So I'm using Sony's VUE Tv and it has Fox Sports 1 and 2 Plus NBCSN and CNBC so I have my motor sports including the F1 season covered.

 

Digging this Sky Sports Pre Qualifying show

Glad TSN has partnered with them for the Canadian broadcasts , we get FP2 , pre qualy , qualy , pre race , race and post race for each weekend

 

I don't wanna get my hopes up too high but Alonso in P3 after Q1

Please god let McLaren be half assed competetive this season

 

On first look , I'm not a fan of the new qualifying format

Too many cars staying in the garage

 

It's the same as before just with cars on track at the beginning instead of end. You should see the last two probably fighting it out.

 

Its not the same as before though because they don't have a chance to get back in and do a second run in a session

 

I liked Q1 better than before, but I agree that Q2 and Q3 were better the old way. It does give them less margin for error, however.

Whats happening now is exactly my point , the bottom 4 cars are all going to be out because they can't turn them around in time , thats stupid

 

They had a chance though, they weren't good enough. Like I said, less margin for error. Do you risk fueling for two attempts or no? They didn't and weren't fast enough.

 

But yes, it's still too much stuff going on.

Ferrari did use more tire in Q1 than Merc, wonder if that's why.

If they tweaked Q3 to the old style I think it has potential.

 

I think they should revert to the old format until they come up with a way this could work cause that was garbage , I would be pretty bummed if I paid to sit in the stands to watch that
