How many deja vu of Rosberg Hamilton crash will we see this year? (Already 3 I think?)

 

Good on Max, great race and nice podium. Nico got what he deserved.

You're right, Rosberg is an idiot. Had he kept to the line he would have come out of Turn 2 in the lead and had a drag race down to turn 3. Yes it is likely that Hamilton would have won it, but that's racing. What Rosberg did was not. And then they booed Hamilton on the podium! Why, for being lucky enough not to have had his car broken?

Yeah Hamilton has pushed Rosberg wide. Two times that come to mind, one this year and one last year. Both times the cars were literally wheel-to-wheel, both times the contact was at the tires, both times both cars easily continued racing. I'm not defending those actions but I will point out the very very different outcomes.

I wasn't paying attention to F1 during Senna/Prost. Is this what it was like?

According to Sky F1 interview with Toto, Nico had brake-by-wire failure, but Martin Brundle (the interviewer) argued that Nico didn't even turn the steering wheel. I want to see some implosion...

 

And if your brakes are falling you brake early, not late.

It was interesting that the broadcasters were speculating that Rossberg would be better off taking both of them out of the race instead of letting Hamilton pass. Then sure as shit it looked like he tried.

 

Now I want to see each of them taking each others out for the whole season....

Wow what an end to the race. Both cars were lucky to even finish.

It was a bit funny listening to Lewis in the winners room after the race. Him and Max were talking and Lewis was sharing what happened. Lewis actually didnt sound upset or put blame on Nico from what you could over hear. Course it would be interesting ot hear what he said about it after seeing the replay

If Lewis can have a car with no issues, I dont think Nico has a chance. Nico just doesnt seem to do as well under pressure. He does fine when hes out front but gets a little sketchy when he is in the pack IMO.

Or it will come down to who can take the other out the most without getting in trouble

Nico came through the pack very effectively on Sunday, better than I was expecting. Years past I would have agreed with you but this year he's a better driver. The only time he seems to get rattled this year is when it's Lewis in his mirrors. Actually 'rattled' doesn't do it justice.
