    Its definitely quieter than the V8's which were literally painfully loud as they passed

    Nobody here has ever heard a turbo wastegate blow off? The "turbo salute"? Sounds an awful lot like a car fart most of the time if you ask me. I hope the F1 engineers are able to improve on it.

    As referenced in that James Allen article I posted , the wastegate is unlikely to be open very often as they are harvesting the heat energy from the turbo

    Not sure what this new exhaust note will sound like
