Bumping up this thread to see how these racks are performing for 2016+. Not much chatter but seems that folks have been trying them out. Lots of interesting accessories etc. Any updates or photos of use? Opinions? Pros or Cons? How about comparison with Prinsu? Thanks

do you really have to use those little 1" space lifts along the feet? looks really dumb.

how hard is the install? no drilling other than cutting a hole in the black strip for the holes?

The thread is about a year old. Front runner adjusted their legs to be taller and avoid the spacers (at the time I don't think they were aware of the small changes Toyota made). I believe they use the same set of legs now for both 2nd and 3rd gen racks.

OP would have to speak to install.

I thought the spacers weren't used either yet all the pictures still show them including their website.

Can't beat Front Runner in my opinion. Their accessories and modular mounting system offers endless—though somewhat pricy—options.

So those spacers exist on all racks, they shouldn't be seen as they're supposed to be flush with the drip molding. OP had ones that were either too large or added on to accommodate the extra height.

How are the FR racks on wind noise? Anyone able to compare them with Prinsu? I have a sunroof and don't want a lot of additional noise. Love the clean, modular design.

So if 2nd gen rails fit on your 3rd gen, I wonder if I can get them to send me some 3rd gen rails as my SL2 is pressing down on my 2014 shark fin.
