Ill keep mine thanks.. How ever there is always an American version of all cars in Europe that we share so hopefully they will design it better. Kinda curious how all that dirt (if that is dirt) got on the side of it since the tires are tucked in so far?

From this angle it looks like the cab has very similar lines to the current Tundra. Also it's five lug...like the current Tundra. I'll bet they steal the 9.5" rear axle and tundy front spindles for the next gen Taco and make it a little bigger than it currently is to increase the load capacity. I really hope they fix that goofy hood though!

Red version looks a lot like a Honda. Is it just me?

Too similar to current Avalon front end also.

I guess the only way up from a 2nd gen is to make a ugly 3rd generation. This way we can wait for a nice looking 4th gen.

Newsflash , the current Hilux doesn't look exactly like the current Tacoma so why are you all assuming the new Tacoma would look like the new Hilux ?

    Too few to list.
I'm sure the looks would differ but it makes sense to share platform/parts to keep operation and production cost down. A business's number one priority is profit otherwise they don't stay in business long. With that in mind, Toyota's obstacle is conform to government mpg standards while designing a truck that would still appeal to current/future owners.

What parts do the Hilux and Tacoma share now ?

Nothing that I know of. Maybe lug nuts but I think possibly in the future that they might. Then again, they might not. Everything is just a guess for now until Toyota actually sheds some light on what's to come.

Damn that blows hard, I mean it kind of reminds me of that Subaru truck that was out a few years ago. No thanks

Looks to me like an Avalon front end on the body of a oversized Subaru Baja.

    Looks like hell.
