You're right. It's actually not but just much higher than first estimate. A lot goes into making and entirely new quality headlight.

I guess they went up quite a bit then. On TW the last few good sets went for under $400.

That's crazy. List price is around 600ea. So 1200 would be for a pair. Unless they quoted PRO's which are ~1k Ea.
Either way, I'm not saying 1250 is a ridiculous price for a set of these. A decked out retrofit could run up in this price. But these better be to the highest standards; low beam, high beam, DRL and turn signal.
    We will find out!

Agreed! I'm just excited to see an aftermarket headlight that's actually good!

Welp, I hope these are going to be a continuously stocked item. I was just going to be able to get them at $750, but I will have to wait awhile to get these. GLWS!

I don’t think this price is all that bad considering all the lighting involved. For 2nd gen retrofits they run ~$1100 with brand new OEM housing and that price doesn’t even include custom features (demon eyes, halos, and color). And that’s only for one projector.

The problem I have with it was it started off at $750 and was silently raised to $1250 with no justification

I can swing the $1250... but that’s king coil over money and my tacomabeast headlights (not even remotely in the same ballpark obviously, but still) were $385 lol

I have a long, expensive list of lighting I want to do. Very expensive

I agree. I think if Andrew had made a comment about something to the effect of that the manufacture of the housing was more than estimated, or whatever; that it would be more understandable.

I get that their website has set prices and we don't get to quarrel about them. We either buy it at their asking price, or do without. That's just business. But to take input from us, and have us believe it could be $700-$900 for the pair, and then raise it without so much as a "By your leave"...o_O

Exactly, he’s been drumming up interest at $750 a pair....the whole time showing off F150 lights that they are currently selling for $1500 a pair. So you know it wasn’t a surprise to them that the price wasn’t going to be $750. With everything going on with vendors lately (Pelfreybilt), this smells.

So far, I'm looking at about 2500, just for tails, heads, and third brake light

Can you also make a tail light where we can relocate the BSM to it? I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I’m sure they could, it’ll be approximately $5. Final pricing will come later...

Justification: it was an estimated price, not guaranteed. Cost of production went up unfortunately.
