Look at the finished product of the F150 and remember it's just a rendering. The actual projectors will most likely be the same ones they used in the F150 headlights

Only because the optics are already tried and true with other housing models we offer. Beyond that--nope!

An amber reflector is required up front unfortunately. We may try to get a light smoke on there but nothing all black would pass.

i am wondering why there is an orange/turn signal bulb underneath the middle projector in the renderings.

I was assuming the three would be; one was low beam, one high beam, and the third in a row would be the turn, with the LED strip being the DRLs

I know assuming is bad but just curious what the layout of the lights might end up being.

That's just the color used in render, but that's a mounting bracket.

Outer two are low, inner one is high. Turn signal is the strip.

I've read through this thread a couple times, and correct me if I missed it, but are the projectors in these simply on or off? Or, when the highs are engaged, do these have solenoids in them that move the cutoff plates so they all shine full power? Or are they only one setting?

Sorry if my ignorant ramblings don't make sense. The tacoma is the first vehicle I've had with any kind of projector.

I am very interested in these... I haven't read the whole thread but did you think about having 6 low beams and 6 high beams with all 6 projectors? Or would that be Overkill and fry the housings?

Also, my two cents would be the drl/turnsignal should be plasma led kinda sorta, don't want any funky dots just a smooth light all the way around
