2016 blue Tacoma TRD off-road DCSB

So I'm getting my truck in a week and I've been looking at lift kits for it. But lots of people I talk to that work at Toyota and do lift kits for Tacoma say that you shouldn't go higher than an 1 1/2" because of the new ball joints...what are people's opinions on lift kits and different kinds
